Philadelphia Soundtrack Columbia Label Award Rainbow The group's breakthrough debut wasLabel award for the soundtrack to the 1993 film Philadelphia. Released on Mar. 18, 1997, the soundtrack album contained tracks from numerous artists. Perhaps most notable was Bruce Springsteen's haunting contribution "Streets Of Philadelphia" which garnered much radio and MTV airplay after debuting in the film. It also won Springsteen the Academy Award for Best Original Song that year. Other tracks were contributed by artists including Peter Gabriel,
