Keel Street Pottery began manufacturing in 1915 at Keele Street, Tunstall, and later at Meir Airport in Tunstall as part of the Staffordshire Potteries Group. Charles Bowers, Elijah Brookes, J. A. Robinson and H. W. Pitt founded the company together. The company ceased its own manufacturing in 1958. The shaving mug is impressed
