Añil—Marta Ayala Herrera Studio (Set of 2) paring made in North CarolinaThe handle was designed using simple geometric forms, carefully composed according to the principles of Crdobas Proportion, a system rooted in the architectural tradition of Crdoba and mathematically comparable to the golden ratio. This proportion is defined by the relationship between the radius of a circumscribed circle and the side of a regular octagon, a geometric logic that played a fundamental role in Caliphal architecture, with roots in earlier
