This isn’t a big wine but the superb detail and unmatched precision are stunning but be aware that it will be a wine for the patient as this is very understated at present and will very definitely require at least a decade of cellar time to really open up

Gorgeous and inviting

There is plenty of Chablis typicity present in the form of notes of iodine

I like the salinity and punch and this should age well yet drink reasonably well young too

Suitably rustic and dense in structure

I imagine this powerful, unyielding Barolo spent too much time in oak. It is hard to see the 2006 ever being in balance. Anticipated maturity, 2012 2016.
